Onboarding Procedure
Polar, as part of its customer onboarding procedures, conducts a KYC (Know-Your-Customer) / KYB (Know-Your-Business) questionnaire.
During registration (onboarding), the customer is requested to provide information regarding who they are, what company they represent, what kind of server they own, what countries they target, and what country they are based in.
Why do we conduct this procedure?
Firstly, conducting a KYC questionnaire helps us to prevent software piracy by ensuring that only legitimate users are granted access to the software. This is particularly important for us, as piracy can result in significant financial losses and damage to reputation.
Additionally, the KYC questionnaire helps to minimize contract breaches by verifying the identity and legitimacy of the customer. By conducting this due diligence, we can be confident that we are entering into a valid contract with a genuine customer who is unlikely to breach the terms of the agreement.
What are the initial steps of customer onboarding?
Upon authenticating with a Discord account, you will be redirected to the Let's Get Started page.
You will be requested to enter the following information about your server:
Name of your server
Domain of your server
List of supported game versions
Countries targeted by your server
After this step, you will be asked to provide information about you or your company.
Full legal name
Address
Country of Residence
Legal name of partnership
Full name and country of residence of each partner
Full legal name
Company registration number
Country of legal registration
Registered corporate address
Full name, Country of Residence, Job title, Address of authorised representative
Full name and Country of residence of each beneficiary
Beneficiaries are people who benefit from the company financially. These include but are not limited to: registered owners, factual owners, media representatives
How do I purchase after onboarding?
After completing onboarding, you will need to contact us through our Discord Server in order to get verified for purchase. We verify servers manually, and you will be asked to provide basic information such as social networks your community is mainly active on.
